I was doing a couple of reviews of Djape's latest publications when I came across one of his I haven't reviewed yet. Tsk Tsk.

If you are seeking an extra challenge to regular Sudoku, you have found the perfect author to take you on the journey.

Djape obviously uses his creative talents at least as much as his computer. I know this because his puzzles have personality. Now, don't laugh at this. I've been hooked for a number of years and have tried many authors. I got so sick of those ones who generate purely computerised puzzles. For one thing, not always is there a purely logical answer for everything. For another, you don't find the fantastic patterns that emerge when you work on one of Djape's puzzles. Not only can you complete a puzzle correctly, but can also be continually amazed at what all those numbers can do in different combinations and settings. Coming from someone who failed Maths, this is quite significant!!!

With this book you will find excellent explanations, great presentation, great paper quality, and lots and lots of jigsaw puzzles steadily rising in difficulty. If he says it's easy, it is. If he says it's cool, look especially for some interesting formations! If he says it's IQ, make sure you are ready.

And then, the trademark additions at the back of the book, with new variations to have you hankering for more.

This book is all jigsaw type Sudoku puzzles. They are challenging and somewhat hard to find. I love these puzzles!!!

I like most of DJ Ape puzzle books, but this type is not the best. The twisted shapes are a little more challenging that traditional Sudoku, but not as much fun as the Samurai or some other variations.
