Product Description

Jigsaw Words Volume 2 is a word game that challenges you to combine groups of letters into words that match the clues given.

This update to the popular Jigsaw Words gives you 100 new puzzles and each puzzle has 10 clues to solve. The puzzles are organized into 10 themed categories like A Journey Through the Decades and College 101, and you can use the theme to help you solve the clues.

In each puzzle, you start with a set of 10 clues. You also have a set of randomly arranged puzzle pieces with letters on them. Your goal is to solve the clues in the puzzle by arranging the puzzle pieces so that the letters form the word that matches each clue. Start with the easiest clues first. As you use each puzzle piece, it is removed from play, making it easier to find the more difficult matches. You can also shuffle the grid of puzzle pieces at any time for a different perspective.

If you enjoy working with words and patterns, try Jigsaw Words Volume 2 and test your ability to build words today!

1.0 out of 5 stars Not For Kindle Fire?? June 30, 2012
It is really stupid that so many games are not available for the Kindle Fire. How is it that devices are getting smarter, but it can't handle a stupid game? And why doesn't it tell you that before you spend 3 hours trying to download a game that will never work in the first place? Stupid.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another round of puzzle fun December 2, 2011
By KW
Coming back to challenge you again, we have another volume of Jigsaw Words! I have found this new collection of puzzles just as thrilling as the last, with all-new categories that will taunt you into solving puzzle after puzzle. It still has the same interlocking word parts and hasn't changed a bit. I've found myself saying 'just another puzzle... then I'll read' but it ends up being more than I had expected and now my poor books sit forgotten at the back of my Home screen as the two volumes of Jigsaw Words preside! I can't wait for Volume Three!

4.0 out of 5 stars Relaxing fun puzzles, but not very difficult. December 11, 2011
Verified Purchase
I'm really enjoying working these short puzzles, but what I'm discovering is how horrible my spelling skills have become. If for no other reason, this game would be worth having.

There are 10 varied subject categories and 10 puzzles within each category. Answer words are divided into two, three, or four letter tiles placed at random on the page. The first four puzzles in the category have a clue for solving in the title of the puzzle. The final six puzzles have no titles at all (until you've completed the puzzle) so you are left to solve the first several to figure out what the answers all have in common. The puzzles within a category become progressively more difficult as you move down from puzzle one to puzzle ten. If you need help with solving, that is available. If you want to reshuffle the remaining tiles for a different perspective, that is easily done. If you get completely stuck and want to see the solution, that option is available also. I have this game on my Kindle and the 5-way control was very responsive and worked well. It does not seem to be available for download to the Kindle Fire. I've only had my Fire for a week so maybe I just don't know how to do it.

The games are not timed. You are simply working to solve the entire puzzle. If you must stop playing before you finish a game, it will be saved for you at that point. There is a page showing all 10 categories of puzzles and how many (if any) of each category puzzle you have completed. The instructions are very good and easy to follow. The only reason I didn't give this game five stars is because the puzzles are not very difficult. Fun, yes, but not difficult. Because of that they are quite relaxing to work with no pressure to try to beat a clock. I think these puzzles could be easily shared and worked with a child, probably from third or fourth grade up. It could be a lot of fun using the trial and error method to help them figure out the words they are looking for.
