Even if you've never had a particular interest in "out of body" experiences, this is a fascinating story. This writer's first book grabs you and makes you sit up and pay attention early on. It's got emotion, suspense, humanity, heroes and heroines, evil types, boats, weapons, supernatural beings, time travel, espionage, military insight -- and it moves at a good pace. Upon completing the book I was ready for the next installment -- and I do hope there will be many more! Jill and her colleciton of friends will take YOU out of yourself and plop you down right in the middle of their world, what a fun trip! Clean reading, no sex in case you are squeamish, and no severe violence. Worth the money and time and a terrific way to leave your worries behind! Get Jill!

Mr Mason kept me glued to the pages. The book was hard to put down. It is unusual for me to be so intent on reading a book cover to cover so quickly but this one compelled me to do so. Now I can't wait for the next in the series ! Hurry up Mr Mason.

I borrowed this book from a friend, read it in three days (would have been sooner but work kept interfering), and had to order another one from Amazon for a dear friend. I loved the book, and the fantasy, and the writing from Russ Mason is excellent and precise. Out of body, Jill flies over towns, ships and airplanes, and finds herself involved with some "bad guys." Russ has promised another book or two in the series and let's hope his fingers are "flying over" his keyboard. I liked the book and would recommend it to others.

This is ONE GREAT BOOK! I couldn't believe it ended when it did. Mr. Mason certainly has a style to keep you reading when it's normally time to turn out the lights!

This book is one you must read. Mason has an incredible talent for words, you won't be disapointed. This book made my Christmas shopping easy this year. I can't wait to read what comes next!

Russ Mason certainly has a unique gift!
This first novel should be a primer for those of us who have yet to put their great American novel to page.
I am sailing to the Virgin Islands and this story, this page turner, left me missing the cut from South Carolina to the Bahamas. I will certainly leave my other copy...yes, I bought a second copy just to spread the news, to pass it on...at the marina for the next boater to enjoy.
Great premise, vivid detail! Good clean fun!
Please, Mr. Mason, don't leave me here on the edge of my seat awaiting the follow-up too long!!

Russ Mason's novel, "Jill Messenger: Out of Body", is a knockout. I absolutely enjoyed his attention to detail, the construct of the story the crafting of tension and the totally, out-of-the-blue surprises! It was a pleasure "getting lost" in the tale and I cannot wait for the next episode.

The first of a trilogy, which leaves you wanting more. Russ is a very entertaining, new author that will be building a large audience as the booktalk begins. I liked the premise, the plot and Russ' talented writing. I flew thru the book (almost as fast as Jill's flying) - very easy reading and leaves you wanting more, especially the next volume. The story heated up with Jill witnessing a murder and she finds herself deep within a covert world with interesting characters. Good job, Russ. I liked it.

As others have suggested, Russ Mason's high-adventure ¨out-of-body¨ thriller is, indeed, a page turner... a compelling read start to finish. Yet more compelling is the fact that Jill Messenger's extraordinary astral-escapades were facilitated by a widely available over-the-counter audio technology! If you are looking for a great way to escape a world turned upside down, Jill's world is the place to be. Kudos, Mr. Mason. Now, where's that sequel?

Wow. Russ Mason is a great storyteller. The dialogue in Jill Messenger: Out of Body just flies off the page. If you like action super heroes--and heroines, techno gizmos, picaresque psychic adventures, political intrigue, and James Bond, then you'll love Jill Messenger. I want a sequel. Now.
