Seldom does a CD of this quality come along for any style of music. This CD has everything; meaningful lyrics, great melodies, beautiful guitar playing, and Jill Paquette's fabulous voice and singing style. Very highly recommended!!!

This cd is simply wonderful. Not only am I constantly listening to it myself, but I have also given it out as a birthday gift and purchased 4 more for Christmas gifts! Jill has an amazing voice, great instrumental talent, and her lyrics are touching and inspirational. I highly recommend this cd to anyone who appreciates great acoustic music and intelligent, thoughtful lyrics.

You cannot wait another day to buy this CD. I heard Jill perform live in Minneapolis several weeks ago and she blew the crowd away. Her lyrics and voice are so moving you will not take this out of your CD! I've been listening nonstop.

OK, I just got a copy of this Cd and and WOW! The lyrics and the guitar skills are really great. Jills voice is so soothing and you just dont want to stop listening. Some of the things she says sort of give me the chills in a good way. She is a very anointed artist! This album is soooo worth buying!

I heard 3 or 4 of the songs on my local Christian radio station and loved them, but was stumped on the artist for months! This is her debut, and I eagerly anticipate her next work. The lyrics touch me deeply - she wrote or co-wrote every song, I believe - and she has such a beautiful, soul-stirring voice. The music is unique and refreshing, I absolutely love this CD! Praise God for the gift He has given this young lady to touch people through music and glorify our relationship with Him . . .

Coffee house folkie type, well thought lyrics, nice guitar work, and not overproduced. Close to secular artists such as Dar Williams, and Catie Curtis. I discovered her on Studio B live, and it was her on the guitar and a guy playing the bongos, thought she sounded terrific.

For those who don't know what I think of this project, allow me to elaborate on it.

The style of this album is folk-pop. Jill Paquette has a beautiful voice, and it is well showcased in this project. The lyrics are uplifting as well. Additionally, there is a beautiful instrumental, "There To Here."

My favorite tracks are "Come To Me", "Not The Only One", the single "Lift My Eyes", "Forget", "Sometimes Yes, Sometimes No," "So Close", and "Free (Take My Life).

I listen to her album at work a lot and some days it really helps me 'keep on keeping on'. Jill Paquette's melodious voice carries me away from the grind of life and helps me remember why I am where I am and doing what I do. Come To Me is beautifully written from God's perspective speaking to his creation beckoning us to simply go to him and is without a doubt my favorite song on the album. There are a few that I like less, but I really do enjoy all of them! Well done Jill...Hope she puts out more fabulous music that contintues to encourage me to follow hard after the Lord!

I love the way her songs could almost be about anyone. They speak to part of our hearts that no one knows about. She has such a gift to be able to put words to what we go through in our walks and every day life. It is refreshing to realize we are not alone on our lifes journeys. I have shared her CD with many people who just need to see we are not alone and the things we feel are quite real. A really great CD worth the money invested.

Faith and folk - what a perfect combination. Paquette bares her soul without needing to shout out a single note... speaking from the perspective of Christ urging the weary soul to 'Come to Me', addressing the humility of hearing uncomfortable answers in 'Sometimes Yes, Sometimes No', and then sharing about being overwhelmed by the divine presence in 'So Close'... Still my fave Christian album since 2004... Honest and simple.
