4.0 out of 5 stars The Other Brother, August 20, 2009
This review is from: Jilted (Harlequin Presents # 614) (Paperback)
This is the story about Alexa and Scott. Alexa was engaged to Mark (Scott's brother)and basically Mark jilts Alexa for her friend (Elaine). On the night of Mark and Elaine's wedding Alexa takes sleeping pills and Scott comes to her rescue. Scott decides to take Alexa to South America to keep her away from Mark. They have to get married to go to South America because of his job. While there they have to over come their differences. As with all romance books you can imagine the ending. I liked this book but it not one of my favorites.

I searched for this book for ages. I read it when it first came out and then I got rid of it. I was so happy that I still liked the story.

2.0 out of 5 stars too fast, April 8, 2010
This review is from: Jilted (Harlequin Presents # 614) (Paperback)
Seemed to move way too fast. Why in the world would Scott talk bad about his brother's ex-fiance and then think that he needed to protect her from herself? It was a very poor plot. I couldn't get past the fact that Elaine stole Alexa's fiancee and then had the gall to invite Alexa to their wedding! Not to mention that Mark was just sidelining Alexa's feelings as though they were meaningless. I'm sorry but Mark was the one that asked Alexa to marry him, he should have thought about all of that before. I don't buy Scott's theory on that either. Maybe Scott railroaded Alexa into loving him then, huh?
