A Very Nice Introduction to the Characteristics and Habits of Deer,
By Shanna A. Gonzalez "eyelevelbooks.com" (Gaithersburg, MD) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Jim Arnosky's All About Deer (Library Binding)
This book is a very nice introduction to the life cycle, habits, and characteristics of deer in the Americas, illustrated in Arnosky's detailed and realistic watercolors. Arnosky's "All about..." series is excellent for the thirsty naturalist who soaks up information about the world. Nature books of this kind tend to proliferate and may not often be reread, so unless your reader has a particular interest in the animal, this may make a better public library read than a permanent addition to your library.
