Pure Jim Brickman; no vocals, no guest stars...just Jim playing Jim, but backed by a 75-piece orchestra. Personally, I liked it; is it for everyone? I doubt it. But if you're a Brickman fan, you'll recognize almost every track from previous releases; just larger and "prettier" than before. This is quite a departure from his norm; and I suspect something that he's been wanting to do for a while. He's added a couple of arrangements that have not been recorded by him before, nor written by him ("You Raise Me Up", Graham/Sand/Lovland, and "From This Moment On" by Shania Twain).

Don't cue this CD up with plans to do anything but set a mood, or just unwind. Upbeat, it's not; beautiful and soothing, definitely.

I really enjoyed Jim's CD. His piano music is delightful and calming. I have all his CDs and I highly recommend them. I have liked Mr. Brickman since he came onto the music scene and told all my friends of this incredible performer. I have gotten to see him several times in concert and I look forward to all his upcoming concerts and his CDs. I hope anyone who purchases this CD will enjoy it as much as I did.

This album is really beautiful...and for those who love Jim's Piano Solo album
you cannot miss this one!!!

Background music(?) by the symphony orchestra made this album a petit piano
concerto?! (*^v^*) Just..all songs are pop-song.

Well,if I can make some complaint, there are 2.
One is, this album is not available everywhere! If you are living oversea like me
I think the best way to get this album is only buy from Amazon(US)...cause it's
not available even at amazon jp or any other online shops I have known.

Two is, I just wished this album length to be at least 70~75 minutes! not about
50 mins..it's not enough!!(^_^;)

This is my 1st time purchasing his CD. Wonderful and enjoying it. I put this on my ipod and it helps me to sleep. I also use it for working out on my yoga stretches. Would highly recommend it.

The songs are simply wonderful. I like a CD that lets you sit back, relax and dream and this is just what the CD does. Definitely recommend this to anyone who needs to unload some stress.

I NEVER received my item. Thelastcinema refused to answer any of my emails. Finally when Amazon got involved here is what thelastcinema had to say to me:
