Can't wait to see what extras are on the DVD. Saw the HBO special several times and loved it, got funnier every time. Like some of the greats, Carlin, Pryor and so on he is able to make his vulgarity work for him so that he doesn't sound like so many other comics, just being vulgar and offensive for the sheer shock of it. It comes across as natural, as if it is just who he is and how he sees the world. No one is safe from ridicule, even himself. I can't recommend this special enough. One of the freshest minds in comedy since Eddie Izzard.

Jefferies doesn't hold back. He speaks his mind, and without caring who he might offend, puts a hilarious spin on various aspects of everyday life. His outlook is cynical but comical, his wit impeccable, and his logic irrefutable. A great laugh all round.

I can't remember laughing harder than I laughed while watching this hilarious comedian the other night. If you don't mind raunchy, sexual humor, then this is the guy you want to watch. I was literally crying during this vulgar hour of laughs.

Utterly hilarious, scathing, lurid, obscene and insightful performance. A peak experience of stand up fire.

JJ was new to me when I first watched this DVD on a flight; and then I watched it again on my return flight. When I got home, I ordered it from Amazon and I've now watched it twice more. This guy is quirky and different, somewhat raw... and very funny. Highly recommended!

Saw Jim Jefferies on television and just had to order the DVD. Hilarious! Definitely worth seeing.

Just my type of humor, Jim Jeffries is a must watch for all who love the darker side of humour.Alcoholocaust is slightly better in my opinion, though you can't have one without the other!

i was looking for "alcoholocaust" but it isn't on dvd yet so i bought this. very happy i did!!! if you like that show, you will like this one as well. very funny

He pulls no punches, but he doesn't have an agenda vs. any group or creed. He will make yhou think about some of his stances, and I laughed even when I disagreed with him.

A must see for lovers of stand-up comedy that aren't afraid to have their values and views threatened.

If you are not laughing at this man, you are seriously disturbed or...you are conservative and/or hardcore Christian. He is vulgar, crass and still, a charming, hilarious man. Caught his first special on Showtime one night, nearly p**d my pants laughing...and I DO NOT laugh out loud. Next to Katt Williams, he is the funniest. Though they do tend to run a bit long, his stories are funny as all get out. His comedic timing is flawless. If you have a no holds barred attitude, u will not regret this purchase.
