4.0 out of 5 stars caption response
Rather, I think Jim is trying to falsify the gloomy nature of the quote by showing just how beautiful, in fact, a neighborhood of diverse color actually is.

The photography is generally beautiful, but Mr. Steinberg chose an unfortunate and offensive photo caption that purchasers will no doubt read. September's picture shows a forest landscape at the beginning stages of Autumn; the forest, once only green, is now becoming more colorful. Mr. Steinberg decided to entitle this photograph, "There Goes the Neighborhood," a well-known phrase used typically by racially intolerant homeowners when a family of different ethnicity (i.e. color) moves into their neighborhood. If Mr. Steinberg has these kinds of feelings, he should keep them to himself and not publish them; or much better, he should apologize and repent. For me, this caption spoiled what is nice photographic work and caused me to lose respect for someone with otherwise respectable credentials.
