My name is Jim Young, and over the years I have developed an insatiable appetite to discover, learn, re-create, and implement concepts that help people attain their fitness goals. I have been in the health and fitness realm for almost nine years now. I have worn many hats in this time ranging from being a personal trainer, selling supplements for a nationally recognized chain, health consultant, strength and conditioning coach, to even an amateur researcher (which I still consider myself).
I have spent almost a decade of my life studying exercise physiology and psychology. When I had finally attained my undergraduate degree in exercise science, I vowed I would not stop learning about the human body and all of its many facets. Waking each morning, I try to take on the role of a researcher; looking for new ways to approach the same old things while making them more effective.
