5.0 out of 5 stars great collector's album!
It is almost impossible to find this album with this rare cover in the now days. Definitely a collector's item if you are a fan of The Jimi Hendrix's Experience. Because this album contains so much progressive rhythm and riffs composed my Jimi Hendrix. A great collector's album too.

5.0 out of 5 stars I'VE BEEN TO ELECTRIC LADYLAND!!!!, July 3, 2008
My name is Wally Gator, and my rocker status stems directly from the fact that I am the reincarnate of all three of the "Forever 27's" who met there demise in the closing hours of the 1960's. Jimi, Janis, and Jim. Thats right. Jimi himself predicted the re-birth in his song 1983 (A Merman I should Turn to Be). That was the year I was born. Right, so I'm not a merman, but I think the idea was meant to be taken figuratively, not literally. I am deeply convinced of this fact. Although, this could possibly have alot to do with the amount of paper tabs I ingested in my teen years. Jimi himself told me my destiny through his eyes on a giant wall poster in my cousins bedroom, while I listened to this classic, classic album; Electric [F'in!!!] Ladyland. He told me, that I, had in fact been there in a previous existence, and that one of these days, I would be going back.

As far as this album goes... it's capital "A" great. Whether you like hard rock, funk rock, blues rock, soul or psyche, it can all be found in it's highest degree on this outstanding double disc. Paper tabs are not necessarilly needed, as the music alone will cause you to trip your balls off, fire you up, and make you feel the rock and roll that lays within your very soul. I won't bother with track selections because every song on here is completely worth hearing over and over.

This particular edition was important to me, as I feel I may need the cover photo for re-entry into Ladyland when the time comes... do yourself a favor, and seek out this cover with the Ladyland Ladies. I love that stuff!
