It is: his own words
I own about 35 Jimi Hendrix books. There's not one like this one because it's simply his own words. It's segmented by topic. The only disappointment is the sources are not cited. I'd love to see the listing of the many interviews these came from. Tony Brown did a day by day book on Jimi that is one of the best ever on him. I love this book. It's great to read...

More information than you really need to know
This book chronicles the life of Jimi Hendrix from many different interviews. His former Army buddies describe various experiences they had with him during his sadly cut short life.

I own about 35 Jimi Hendrix books. There's not one like this one because it's simply his own words. It's segmented by topic. The only disappointment is the sources are not cited. I'd love to see the listing of the many interviews these came from. Tony Brown did a day by day book on Jimi that is one of the best ever on him. I love this book. It's great to read Jimi's words. It's as close to an autobiography as can exist by Jimi. In his own words.
