My box arrived and I tossed the 2nd disc in the player right away. I was lucky enough to have gone to the 1st of his two shows and reliving it was great (the sunday show footage is on the 2nd disc and monday is on the first). The video quality is generally very good and so is the audio quality. It seems like one of the cameras was a little grainy, but in general it is very crisp. I was going to wait to preview it first on netflix, but decided to dive right in. Im glad I did!

And dont worry. Even though Amazon has the wrong cover and only lists it as 1 disc, it is the same thing being sold everywhere else. It is 2 DVD's and says "Live At Wrigley Field" down the right side of the front.

For the dude who worries about grainy shots, a crew that doesn't test cameras, bad sound and kids in the audience...

The "grainy" shots are super 8 mm. It's an art thing. It's meant to give a home video (from days past home video) Saturday morning at the ball park feel. To capture a piece of that Wrigley history. You're seeing super 8 (park shots, audience), several show cameras and the blimp throughout. This is to give you a comprehensive view of the show. Again, to capture the moment. Not come off super slick. It's Jimmy, this great band, excited fans, a first-time show on hallowed ground and the overall unique experience of the venue with this band. Day time was intended to tie in the game/park history with the music. There were no accidents in the planning. In fact, a huge amount of work is put into each show, especially this show. To be over-produced was not the point.

5.1 and the sound in general. It's possible that you need a new system. It's there and much care was put into the full body as well as little touches of a live show.

Kids. Jimmy got famous for songs about binge-drinking, tattoos, rambling nights of random love, and all manner of debauchery. If mom and dad bring kids to the show, this is their decision. I think JB has actually remarked from the stage that he's surprised to see kids there but everyone is delighted that families come. It's up to people to do as they wish. No one is going to police fan behavior.

You're welcome to your opinion but the short sightededness of this review is amusing.

The magic of a Buffett concert has finally after all these years of waiting has arrived....and my oh my was it worth the wait...For those of us in the know a Jimmy Buffett concert is pure magic... a 3 hour (or more depending on how long you tailgated lol) concert of incredible musicianship and a mini vacation from all the troubles of the world....now we can have this magic when ever we need it 24-7-365 and the way the world is going lord knows we need it...The music unites us as a people to have fun and to laugh and to remember at the same time....For those who dont know or who have never have had the "experience" now is the time to find out what the rest of us know..the Joy the happiness the TALENT the fun of a JB concert...The magic of Jimmy and his band that he can take us to the islands and back but he attracts the young, the old and everyone in between and spans races and we all come together as ONE as a people to celebrate the JOY of music....and in these trying times we should all be thankful for bands like the coral reefer band....and if this music does not move you then you TRUELY ARE DEAD.....DO NOT MISS THIS MISS THIS...a truly wonderful night of music GARUENTEED to lift your spirits.....As for the music all the hits are there every thing you could want...the band is SPOT on (as always...although I must admit I do miss "Fingers") and the sound and the dvd is supurb in every way the only thing i would have changed is Putting the Star Spangeled Banner at the Beginning Of the Concert not as bonus material...but none the less this is PURE JOY!!!!!

At last! A full-length Jimmy Buffett concert on DVD! It's been a while coming but this is a beauty. There are so many highlights it's hard to know where to start - perhaps the best place is the overall quality of the DVD. The sound is superb, the camera-work spot on and the real essence of a Jimmy Buffett concert is captured perfectly. The song mix is terrific - everything from Buffett classics like Volcano, to new classic like Piece Of Work, to iconic covers like Southern Cross. Seeing Jimmy and the Coral Reefers perform in daylight and night-time is a nice touch and the crowd shots show why a Buffett concert is such an all-encompassing experience! For me, a favourite moment is the concert finale of Steve Goodman's City Of New Orleans. Steve now resides under home plate at Wrigley and I'm sure he was singing along as well. Buffett fans and new Parrotheads alike will find this DVD one to watch many times over.

A well produced DVD of an outstanding outdoor concert. The sound quality on the DVD is CD quality. The shots from the blimp give you a better feeling of how many people crammed into Wrigley Field on Labor Day Weekend 2005. You don't go to Buffett shows for the quality vocals. You go for the memories and to escape your life for a little while! He never lets you down!

One of the best live DVD concerts in my collection.

The Jimmy Buffett DVD - Live At Wrigley Field does not disappoint. It has very good sound and vision quality and Jimmy and the band are in top form and so are the audience of loyal parrot heads.

The chosen song list is very good with two versions of City Of New Orleans. One as a duet with Mac McAnally and one on the extras with the full band a stand out of the show.

This DVD is about as close as we in Australia are likely to get to see Jimmy Buffett live as to my knowledge he has never toured here.

I was very pleased with this DVD. It was "almost" like being there. As a huge Buffett fan, and after seeing live shows over the past 7 years, I thought the DVD would be a nice "extra" to own. I was a little disappointed in the fact that there were not enough quality shots of the crowd during "Fins" and there could have been more "parking lot" shots. I guess that's just something you have to experience "live". Overall, a great addition to my Buffett collection.

Jimmy Buffet was never a wellknown artist in Europe, so I didn't know him or his music. Last year when I was in the States I heard him for the first time and I liked it from the first minute. This Wrigley Park Concert is heartwarming, southern music with a big influence of Caribbean sound. Fabulous!

Although I have never seen Jimmy in person, due to living on the far side of the world, I have long been a fan of his music. I don't think anyone would admit that Jimmy has the best voice put upon this earth, but I don't think Jimmy would admit to this either. His songs have always either come from the heart and / or put you in one of his cool locations that we would all like to be in.

When you see what happens in the concert arena (Wrigley Field in this instance - the best use of the venue since the first "Blues Brothers" movie, outside of baseball) you know that the whole band are enjoying the whole experience as much as the audience. It's one big party for everyone and, from the glimpses of the audience prior to going in to the show through to the final number, that is what you get. In all honesty, how many concerts do you go to where the whole band actually look as though they are enjoying what they do, and you get taken along for the ride?

The concert itself is a good mix of hits and new numbers, with the addition of also being a fundraiser for Jimmy's beloved New Orleans following hurricane "Katrina". For any fan of the man, I can't recommend this highly enough. Put your feet up, grab a favourite beverage and sit back and enjoy the experience.

The only thing better than this is if Jimmy can tour his show down here in New Zealand.
