Jimmy Neutron's evil altar ego, Jimmy Negatron, has trapped the good Jimmy in a strange dimension and taken over Retroville. To save the day, kids help good Jimmy explore the environs, collect useful items, build cool gadgets, and outsmart the bad guys. Play begins once you get past a lengthy cartoon-like introductory story, and the first task is to gather the parts necessary to make a water balloon launcher to shoot at key targets. Then, it's on to more sophisticated inventions like a hover cycle, rocket ship and Super Burp-Zooka gun. Kids liked the game, but got stuck at times, so this might be best-suited to the very persistent.

Jimmy Neutron is attending a field trip at the Retroville Museum. He's boredof hearing Miss Fowl go on and on  about the museum artifacts. Jimmy wishessomething exciting would happen, and his wish is about to come true...but in away he never imagines.

Jimmy Negatron, Jimmy Neutron's alter ego from another dimension, has discovereda way to swap places. His plan is so transparent into Jimmy Neutron's dimensionand turn Retroville upside down. He has created a special holding pen in thecorner of his lab just for our favorite boy genius.

In a flash, Negatron's evil plan is in place. He's taken over Retroville andchanged the Flurp Formula to put the entire city uner his spell. And that's notall...he's transformed Carl into a raging giant, mummified Miss Fowl, andcaptured Libby and Jimmy's parents.

Now for the big important question...can Jimmy Neutron successfully escape JimmyNegatron's lab, break out of his dimension, and once again save Retroville?

I bought this for my eight-year-old daughter, and both of us just love playing it. I think the graphics could be better, I would particularly have preferred smoother flowing graphics, but the game itself is great fun. We've played the game over and over, and there are always new little niches to find that we didn't find before. In this game, Jimmy gets to walk, jump, swim, fly, swing, slide, navigate a submarine and a helicopter (thanks Goddard!). The story line is funny, and is very much in keeping with the characters from the show. It's a game my daughter returns to over and over.

This game is awesome! It takes a while for the cut scenes to load and some levels were boring but the game is just plain awesome. This game is definetly for 8-12 year olds anyone older could beat the game very easily.

Watning, you must have a top of the line computer to play this. Our Windows 98, hard drive, ..., video card were not able to play the intense 3D video.
