Jimmy Smith is often overlooked these days, so for those who may have never heard of Smith & His Hammond this is a great start to his work. It also shows the broad range of his virtuosity should you choose this as as your only Smith offering. With today's oversynthesized keyboards dominant, you will be blown away by Smith's mastery of this classic instument. You will never hear a "church" organ the same way again.
