Being mostly a rock lover who never gave Polka more than a derisory passing thought, I really had my eyes opened by this great performing band. They smoke! This group of regular looking guys puts on an unbelievably accomplished and energized set; the driving beat is irresistible and the many layers of brass, accordion, guitar build up to make a terrific sound.

These musicians are truly adepts, polished as can be, filled with energy and having a great time. European polka music has an image of boring conservatism; in the US it apparently blossomed in the German and Czech dance halls of the South, where the atmosphere was anything but sedate, with the influences of Louisiana's and Mexico's music added in, and the powerful impact of a big band. If you're open to different kinds of music, check this out and you'll understand why the audiences apparently go crazy at their live concerts.

This is one of the top 5 Polka bands in the country that has vocals and a magnificent well balanced sound! This DVD will bring countless hours of enjoyment to anyone. Supurb dynamics in this bands song list which includes Waltzes, Polkas, Country and more. Each band member contibutes musical excellance to this bands performance. This DVD in concert is well worth the purchase!!!

enjoyed but want more polka, the girl singer was good and enjoy seeing couples dancing.
I was not familiar with the band but they were good, should do more dvds
