More About the Author

I began writing stories as a means of staying connected to my three young children while I was deployed with the US Army in 2009. While deployed, one of my Army buddies Charles Snook offered to help me illustrate some of my stories. He has told me that the fun he has had drawing the pictures for "Jimmy the Racing Frog" has helped him cope better with having been separated from his family for so long. My greatest reward to this day is hearing my own children get excited about something I wrote. Not that I need praise, but if I discover through my writing something that they find interesting I feel that much closer to them, and that means the world to me. I hope that sharing my stories with your children will be equally rewarding for you.

Really great. It combines alive lesson and a science lesson &clearly the love of a father for his children. The activities suggested at the end of the book make it beyond complete. Highly suggest the acquisition of this story.

My child loves racing, so I was surprised that even though the story takes a twist on that, he really enjoyed it! I recommend this book for primary grade school and preschool kids!

We're big fans of critters of all kinds. This is short and fun, but not nearly as much fun as Pirates Stole My Booty (A Silly Pirates Picture Book) (Silly Picture Books) or Twelve Dresses, One Star (A Silly Picture Book About Being Who You Are) (Silly Picture Books). Hopefully the formatting will be fixed soon.
