This is a lovely book that really captures the feel of the film through its liberal use of the german language, lavish film images, and dynamic layout. The only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars is because I can't read japanese and so I cannot rate the text. But please don't let the lack of english keep you from buying this book! If you are at all captivated by the film, this book is full of details - storyboards, character design, weapon design, and a brief history of the Kerberos as it has appeared in various mediums. (Preceding Jin-Roh, there have been two live action films and a manga series. Oshii has been playing with this scenario since 1986!) For those that can read japanese, the book also contains interviews with Okiura, Oshii, Kamiyama, and Ogura. Enjoy!
