I went with the Piranha brand pants due to the reinforced knee area. I only needed pants, not a full gi, because while my gi top stayed in good condition, the knees on my past gi pants kept wearing down. We do a lot of takedowns and grappling which can cause wear and tear pretty fast.

I have been pleased with the comfort and performance of these pants. It's been almost 6 months and so far the knees have help up well and the pants as a whole feel pretty durable. I would purchase these again.

My one complaint is that the drawstring loop on the front of the pants was snapped when I received the pants. I know, I could have returned them and it seems like Piranha is really good about providing customer service. The pants are fine without that loop, but it looks like it's not held together with very sturdy stitching (the only part of the pants that don't seem sturdy). I can see that loop breaking pretty easily. So I apologize, Piranha for being lazy and using the pants as-is. It hasn't changed my opinion that these pants are very good.

Pant's arrive far quicker than expected.
Been rolling in them for about 3 weeks now, great quality.

They came in a little long, but when I dried them on high heat (the way the instructions say not to do) they shrunk to the perfect fit.

Excellent pants, though you night want to replace the drawstring with something non stretchy.

The quality of these fighting pants is excellent...very thick, well-sown construction. And the personal service from the company is outstanding. One note, you may want to buy them a little bigger than your normal size, as they do shrink.

I ordered a couple pair of pants just before Christmas, and was pleasantly surprised to receive them not only on time, but earlier than expected. The Piranha folks have also been interested in customer service after the sale, and have followed up with me with meaningful dialog a couple of times. The pants themselves are great quality, nice and heavy, with double stitching throughout and double knees all the way to the cuff. I didn't notice any appreciable shrinkage in cold water, and the fit was very similar to other gi's I've owned.

Excellent product: good material and a good fit. Even though I should have picked a size larger they are still comfortable for me to kick and roll in.
