I bought a gi from Piranha Gear via Amazon. After I washed it, the top shrank up (too much) but the pants not at all. (I did later read some other reviews, and saw that other people had similar problems. )HOWEVER...when I contacted them, I got a call back from the owner of the company himself. To make a long story short...a replacement is on the way. I cannot praise enough the level of customer service I received. They really went the extra mile.

In short...I know that problems arise...but it is how people deal with them that makes the difference. I was so pleased, that I plan to order more stuff from them again soon.

im very happy with this gi,very durable,color doesnt fade easily,but does shrink so buy one size bigger than your own.

I ordered my gi on Friday night after 8pm. It was in my hands by noon on Wednesday! Great service and turn around. Gi fits well and I'm looking forward to using it tomorrow.

Piranha Gear contacted me about my experience and I am more than happy to share it. This was my first gi and typical of me I ordered before I read the other reviews which stated that Piranha Gear gi's seem to run a little small. I call PG the very next morning hoping they hadn't packaged and shipped yet. I talked to Bill (yeah...an actual human being) and explained that I was concerned I may have ordered the wrong size.
He asked me my size which is 197-200lbs at 6' tall but I have a 32"-33" inch waist. Because of my height and upper body size he recommended the A4 top but the A3 bottom due to my small waist (thanks Bill for the compliment by the way!)
I received within 2 days (from CA to MA) and the top was just one quick wash and 10 minutes of drying from perfect. The bottoms were perfect as is. My BJJ instructor was impressed with the quality and being single weave is nice as my gym doesn't believe in AC.
As my schooling progresses I will buy another gi...probably double weave as the colder months approach and I will go back to Piranha Gear for that purchase as well.

I bought this yesterday and ordered regular shipping and I got it this morning. Freaking nuts.
The quality of the material is really good too. I thought I'd get a paper-thin gi or something but this gi is really thick and durable. Definitely a good buy

I received the Gi very vast. The Gi fit me well. The Gi is snug on my shoulders but not tight. the sleeves were a little long but after one wash the sleeves shrunk just a bit and to the perfect length. I would recommend this Gi.

Ordered the uniform on a Monday Night and had it just in time for my Saturday class. The uniform fit perfectly and breathes very nicely while feeling very durable. I' pretty happy with it. If I ever need another one here's where I'll get it.

I noticed from the other feedback that y'all had great customer service, but I never expected this. My husband's height is 5" 6', he weighs 170 lbs, he has a 35" waist, and wears a medium size t-shirt when I ask him to. I ordered an A3 or 5 and it fit great. He did just mention to me that the last two gis (specifically for Judo) that he ordered were a little too big even after trying to shrink them. They were the size A3 also. The belts were all just fine. Anyways I hope this helps. Thank you for a great product.

This is the first Gi I have ever bought, so my knowledge base is very limited. I can say however that I am very pleased with the company and the product. The Gi arrived very quickly, was exactly what I thought I was getting and it came with a white belt so I didn't have to go and buy one somewhere else. The pants have an internal drawstring which is different from most Gi pants, but I like it. I have seen some of the guys at the dojo having to re tie their pants from time to time, so I think the internal drawstring is a good idea. I would suggest that you do order a size larger than what you normally wear as the Gi will shrink once you wash it. Also, Piranha gear supplies you with washing instructions so if you don't know how to care for a Gi you will once you're Gi arrives. Good luck trying to find another Gi that's made this well for this price.
