Okay set...,

This review is from: JoJo Designs 9-Piece Baby Crib Bedding Set - Blue and Khaki Camo Camouflage Army (Baby Product)
The previous review talks about a mobile, which they must have ordered seperately. We received one comforter, one bumper, one fitted sheet, one skirt, two window valances, one diaper stacker, one toy bag and one throw pillow as the description says. Just wanted to point that out for anyone who is confused by the picture/previous review. It also doesn't include the clothes hamper, decorative wall hangings changing pad cover or lamp shade. Though we did order the changing pad cover seperately. I wouldn't reccomend it, the pad cover does not fit on a contoured pad like it showed in the picture, it'll only fit if you have one of those thin, flat pads that come with most changing tables. I don't use it at all, we use our contoured pad and found a blue cover to go over it.To get on with the review- Comforter- my son is now a year old so we occasionally use this now. This is pretty pointless that first year though since you can't use a comforter in the crib with a newer baby. Overall my son prefers his other blankets and we live in a cold area...this isn't exactly a warm comforter, his knit blankets ones are much warmer. We've washed it many times and have never had a problem with how it has come out of the wash. Bumper- pretty pointless overall. It was in the crib until my son was born and in the crib. I don't really understand why these are still made since it's well documented they are dangerous. You can get a blue breathable crib bumper that matches well. Fitted sheet- I prefer a knit fitted sheet we bought seperately since it's softer. The one that comes with the set is a very basic blue crib sheet, nothing special or soft. Crib skirt- nice, no real complaints that don't apply to most other crib sheets. It slips and slides everytime I change sheets on my son's crib which is a hassle since then I have to readjust it. Not sure that is something that applies to just this set though. Window valances- no complaints. Definitely does it's job. Diaper stacker- we don't use it, I'm sure it probably works fine but we use cloth diapers and have other storage for them. Toy bag- we tied ours onto the end of the crib (it has ties, nothing to hang it on the wall as far as I can see not that we personally would have wanted to anyways), it was convenient before he was moving around. I can imagine it'd be a convenient place to put extra pacifiers and we put random other little things we'd need in it too. Now, my son unties it all the time and it's close to being retired. Throw pillow- same with the bumper, it was in the crib until he was. Since you aren't supposed to put things like that in the crib it seems kind of pointless. It's too small to put on the rocking chair in his room without looking funny. The best use I found for this pillow was bringing it to the store to match paint colors. So in the end all we use, a year later, from this set is the crib skirt and window valances with the comforter on occasion. In hindsight I feel like we would have been better off not buying a whole bedding set, but that isn't really a problem with the set itself as most sets sold include all of the things that in the end are pretty pointless. It's not the best set I've ever seen, the materials are okay, not top of the line. But it's also not the worst set I've ever seen.

I bought this crib bedding before my son was born. It was exactly what I was looking for. My Husband wanted camo (I thought he was kidding) I couldn't imagine a baby's room in green camo? I found this and it looked so cute and matched the room. I should have returned this item but bought it way before the baby was born and by the time everything was set up, it had been so long. The mobile never worked. I washed the comforter one time and it got all lumpy. Just one wash and the comforter looks and feels horrible. Won't lay flat no matter what I try. Waste of money. Cute but not able to be used if you plan on washing it..which obviously you are. Its so bad that I will not buy anymore from this JoJo Designs. I was just searching for bedding for my daughter and this name popped up and I thought..no way, not again. They may have other things that are good but I'm not willing to take that chance.
