This is a wonderful comforter (with an added duvet cover) for your baby/ toddler during the colder months.
The one star reviews point out what every reasonable parent knows on how to prevent SIDS. I have to point out that the comforter is advertised as a baby and toddler comforter and you as a parent have to use your judgment when your baby is ready for a blanket or comforter.
Mine is now 17 months and has been sleeping with a blanket since month 12.
So... please stop giving this fabulous comforter these bad reviews! This is a great product and highly recommended (for your 12+ month old baby).

Just wanted to say for those of you giving us parents a lecture on the safety of bedding in a crib, that some parents like us, use crib size mattresses well into toddler hood and these duvets are wonderful to keep an older child warm. My 2 year old loves it and so do I. We have all read the same parenting books, we know the does and don't s, so I encourage you to focus your review on the product, not on your parenting opinions.

we adopted our daughter at 21 months and she would not leave ANY blanket on. I of course started with nice warm fuzzy ones. She hated them. She loves the comforter and so do I. Only gave it a four because I wish it was a little bigger.
