Green & Bailey do a good job of documenting the plight of the college student in today's marketplace. They back this up with impressive statistics and research. Although this is a short book and an easy read, you need to get to page 42 to really get into the meat of the book, strategies to help college students find employment. The suggestions are not particularly new, but they do reinforce the advice of most college career counselors (identify your interests, research employers, network, network, network). I love the photos and the top ten lists at the beginning of each chapter.

The most helpful book about job strategies I have ever read!

As I read this book, I noticed that it is aimed at college students who are entering the job market; however, I feel that it would be helpful to EVERYONE seeking a job. It speaks to both blue collar and white collar job markets, so no matter what your passion is, this book can help you.

I particularly loved the added recommendations and charts. It tells you how to make gaps in employment look attractive on your resume and lists the 60 job strategies that are relevant for today's economy.

With the US economy in tatters, this book is a MUST-READ for anyone looking for a job or career.
