5.0 out of 5 stars Love this Lady Elegance blow dryer stand from Amazon!!!
LOVE it!! Directs the hot air just where I want it, leaves both hands free to fluff-dry and style my hair, and allows me leave my blowdryer out on the Master Bath countertop without cords and clutter. The base is sturdy, and once I put it together correctly, I had no problems.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not worth it!
This Item is not worth the money. I should've taken heed from the review I read. The vibration of the hairdryer causes the handle of the stand to move around in circles. Wouldn't buy this item for a friend, Sorry.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love this Lady Elegance blow dryer stand from Amazon!!!, March 30, 2010

LOVE it!! Directs the hot air just where I want it, leaves both hands free to fluff-dry and style my hair, and allows me leave my blowdryer out on the Master Bath countertop without cords and clutter. The base is sturdy, and once I put it together correctly, I had no problems.

Read. The. Instructions.
I didn't, and made 2 simple mistakes:

1) Two "poles" or rods form the stand, one of which slides into the other to adjust the height of the stand. My first try, everything LOOKED correct except that I couldn't raise the height up. No matter how much I twisted, as soon as I'd let go, KLUNK! Frustrated, I started over from scratch, dug out the instructions (duh!) and discovered I had inserted the second pole upside-down.

2) DO make sure you clamp the flexible neck of the stand onto the "nose" of the blowdryer, so to speak, so that the weight of the dryer and its cord hang BEHIND the stand, AWAY from you, and not in front. I finally studied the photo on the box, adjusted accordingly, and the neck now holds my heaviest blowdryer.

The above MIGHT explain a few negatives this product has received. Just sayin's, all. Bottom line, I love mine. Best $15 I ever spent.

5.0 out of 5 stars My 3rd hand!, March 8, 2007

I love this product, it's very sturdy & does exactly what it's supposed to do. You can style the back of your hair easily without juggling a mirror & hairdryer.

3.0 out of 5 stars Could be better, August 8, 2007
This review is from: Hair Dryer Stand (Baby Product)
The assembly was somewhat simple but had a great struggle with the two main components. Once assembled, the stand would not adjust in height as advertised. It only stays at one setting. The stand does hold the hair dryer well, but would be better if it could be adjusted. I would not buy another one.

4.0 out of 5 stars this item is very helpful if you have an arm injury, March 19, 2009
This review is from: Hair Dryer Stand (Baby Product)
The only problem with this stand was in the assembly....not enough instructions to figure it out. The clue is to put the small uncapped end of the smaller tube into the large tube from the bottom and the white plastic parts will fit into the center of the larger tube to make the stand adjustable! Then put the screws in.

My sister broke her wrist and this was invaluable to her when drying her hair. The trick is also to have a smaller light weight hair dryer to use with it.

1.0 out of 5 stars Top heavy, March 1, 2008
This review is from: Hair Dryer Stand (Baby Product)
It was hard to get it assembled. Even then, I couldn't adjust the height. So I adjusted me to fit the stand. It actually worked pretty good for about two weeks. Then I turned my head and the dryer fell off and broke the stand. All gone now. Just another piece of broken plastic taking up space.

I just had carpal tunnel surgery and the hair dryer stand was a god-send. I was able to wash and dry my hair with no trouble - the day after surgery - by using only my left hand (and I'm right handed).

5.0 out of 5 stars Works great, September 5, 2009
This review is from: Hair Dryer Stand (Baby Product)
I have a professional hair dryer that has a short barrel. It holds the dryer without falling over. The only complaint is that the stand is not as long as I had thought and you really have to put it on the counter in order for it to be effective (just like the picture). Other than that, it works great and I am pleased with it.
