This review is from: Jobar's JB4869 Garage Screen Door, Black, Double (Tools & Home Improvement)
This review is of the 16 x 7 ft screen for garage doors on 5/15/2011.
I have purchased and installed 2. One on my garage door, one on a large porch. Both have the same design shortcomings. It is 16 ft wide but it is about 2-3 inches short of 7ft long. Therefore I had to put edging on the top of my garage door to get it to reach the ground. They have changed from using sand at the bottom to using what appears to be aluminum pipe. Probably to reduce shipping weight, unfortunately it isn't heavy enough to hold the screen closed against even small winds. I purchased short pieces of steel rebar at Lowes which fit perfectly inside the Aluminum pipe and give it enough weight to stay in place during all wind conditions so far. The over lap for entry and exit is only 4". Needs to be more like a foot because they use only 1 magnetic at the center to hold it closed. Interesting that the instructions show a screen with a large overlap but the product doesn't have that much. I assume cost savings on material. Added 2 more magnets, one half way between the existing magnet and the top and one between the existing magnet and the floor and now it stays closed well enough. The top is attached via eyelets in the top stitching. This is an improvement over the velcro I have read about as you can use nails to hang it. It uses velcro for the sides only and, like everyone else says, it doesn't stick for very long. However, if you have a large staple gun and the edge around your door is wood just put 1 staple thru the middle of each piece and the problem is solved. You can make it work (as I did), but it's not going to be an out of the box perfect fit. When I have to put this much work into a product, it gets only 1 star, even though it is useful.

Awesome Purchase!,

Honestly, a little tricky to put up. They work great to keep the ping pong balls in the garage and most of the bugs out. You may find they don't fit as snug as you'd like to keep bugs out but remember the price you payed! Just spend a little more on some other parts to help keep them closed well. My grandparents have an amazing screen...and it cost them $160. If you want a better product...spend $160, otherwise these are an AMAZING alternative.
To keep the bars from ripping out of the bottom, I bought some copper pipe insulation small enough to hold onto those bars. That way, the pipe insulation gets ruined but the bars don't fall out. (pipe insulation = ~60 cents)

This works as advertised...very fine mesh...you can barely see it. Metal eye hooks on top to hand and weighted aluminum tubes on the bottom to weigh down. Excellent price.....
