If you're using more than one camera, leave a clip on each one and swap them out on the pod.
It's simpler and cheaper than buying a gorillapod for each camera.

Makes it so easy to attach and detach your camera from a variety of tripods, quickly. Doesn't get in the way of other add-ons to your camera.Eliminates the "screwing on " process of attaching the camera to the mini tripods.

Due to medical problems I no longer can hold a camera steady enough for anything but flash photography so I purchased the Joby GP2 Gorillapod which came with the quick release mechanism. I liked it so much that I bought a replacement so that when I lose the original, something I know will happen eventually, I will have a replacement ready to go. I can affix the quick release to my camera and instantly go from hand held to tripod mounted. The release does not interfere with using the camera off the tripod and the included level bubble makes it a lot easier to properly set up the Gorillapod. I only wish I could purchase the receiver for this quick release so I can add it to my full size tripod.

It is great to have extra clips. These are at a great price and you can put them on several cameras for quick setup.

I love it, although it takes a little practice to get the camera positioned the way I want. I'd love to be able to attach a tripod head...
