Editorial Reviews

From the Author

With over 30 years in the Broadcasting industry as a General Manager and Talk Show host, I have interviewed hundreds of people for jobs in the industry. Radio today is searching for talent with no where to turn. People won't apply because they don't know how to go about it. They think a certain skill is required to enter this exciting business and they are wrong. Most of my announcers came write off of the street.

There are so many exciting opportunities in the Broadcasting business and this is the reason I wrote the book Jock Itch. Not another book on the market tells you what Jock Itch tells you about the Broadcasting Industry.

2.0 out of 5 stars Don't waste your money on this overpriced book, April 11, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Jock Itch (Paperback)
You gotta be kidding? Author ran a little stand alone AM station, and guided another stand alone FM into a forced sale due to poor ratings and sales. $35 for this? And, why does the author work for the Wisconsin Lottery today, instead of broadcasting?

2.0 out of 5 stars Fourth grade level reading, third rate writing., August 17, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Jock Itch (Paperback)
Jock itch is chock full of useless information, most of which can be obtained by simply calling any radio station and speaking with the receptionist. Definitely not worth the $35 price tag, and definitely does not live up to it's overblown claims made by the author.
