The movie was gorgeous, and the music is lovely! We especially enjoyed the sufi scene and the song Kwaja Mere Kwaja... so we bought the CD just for that song! But my husband and I have the whole album on our iPods, it was that good. Now we can't wait for the DVD so we can watch the whole thing over again!

You should be aware that the 2nd disc included here is NOT a CD - it is the Bonus DVD that is also included in the movie 3 DVD disc set - so if you already have that - or are ONLY interested in getting the music, then the single disc set is just as good, if not preferable for the price. But either way, it is my FAVORITE Hindi film - and the music is outstanding as well...

I absolutely love this music. I got a little off the net in the Jodhaa Akbar website but it was sheer delight to get the full version. The film is magnificent and so is the music.

This is one of the recent super-hit classics by the legendary A.R.Rahman (he won Golden Globe for Slumdog Millionaire's music and now has received 3 Oscar nominations as well) for the magnum-opus film Jodhaa-Akbar. The music captures wide genres and is as magnificent as the film is. The song "Man Mohana" is one of my all-time favorite A.R.Rahman songs, in fact my whole family absolutely loves it. Azeem-o-Shaan is such grandeur a song, just play it on high quality surround system and feel the ride. Khwaja Mere Khwaja is a qawali (a spiritual song), and when it comes to this type of songs no one can match A.R.Rahman, this song is simply brilliant. In Lamhon grows on you like slow poison and then you cannot stop listening it. Jashn is a sweet love song with timeless melody. To sum it up this is an outstanding album by A.R.Rahman which a true music lover shall never miss.

This movie is completely incredible, in large part due to the A. R. Rahman's brilliant soundtrack. While the songs themselves don't quite have the same heft without the accompanying visuals, they are more than strong enough to stand on their own and certainly good enough to transport the listener back to the magical land of Mughal India...

The soundtrack of the Jodhaa Akbar movie by A. Rahman is nothing short of spectacular. Every song is memorable. I have found I can't stop smiling while I listen to this. The adjectives that come to mind are uplifting, pleasing, perfect. The movie was fantastic and the soundtrack matches it perfectly.

No word can describe the magic of A.R.Rahman's music. All the songs heard in the DVD are outstanding. In fact, I have bought the sound track because of "Kwaja Mere Kwaja" that goes straight into the heart. My only regret is Javed ALi's missing song in the deleted scene "Farewell to Jodhaa". The wailing that describes Jodhaa's sadness leaving her love ones, her anguish facing her fate in a new place, a new culture totally unknown, could be an asset to the cd set. Dommage! But despite my longing for this particular song, A.R.Rahman deserves a big bravo as I will say in French.

Worth the purchase! It was a memorable movie so it's nice to hear the music- very inspirational.

The movie was really memorable and the mood was beautifully captured and conveyed in this music. A.R. Rahman who writes quite different hindi music has done it again. He writes some of the best soundtrack in the world and I now seek out his stuff to listen to. Simply beautiful and definitely recommended.

It was music that I had heard and liked, but the more you listen to the music it tends to grow on you.
