Penny Birch shows why she is one of the best writers of erotica. Not the best "woman" writer, but the best overall. She has developed a set of characters over several books, including "Fit to Be Tied" and "Regime." This time Amber Oakley is the protaginist. Ms. Oakley, who prefers women but enjoys the humiliation of people forced to perform with men, describes her thoughts and actions in details that rivet the reader. Of course, the reader understands that it is fantasy and all in fun. But the willing suspension of disbelief should carry the reader from first line to last. Especially interesting is the "paint ball" contests Ms. Birch introduced in "Regime," and which also appear in "Fit to be Tied." This may be an emerging fantasy (as seen by the controversy caused by pranksters in Nevada who claimed to have a real shooting gallery." Ms. Birch likes her female characters to be hunted, netted, and then "forced" to do whatever the winner demands. While the reader knows the match will end with one of the several women losing, it an interesting quessing game who it will be. Ms. Birch shows she is at the top of her form in "Jodphurs and Jeans." Let's hope to see more of Penny, Amber, Sophie and the other ladies in Ms. Birch's upcoming book. Ms. Birch herself appartently enjoys some humiliation herself. There are a couple of favourable reviews already on this book, and deservedly so. It is simply one of Penny's all-time best. I would only add that, in addition to all the paintball fun, there is one of the best, if not the very best, spanking scenes ever. It features a Mr. Protheroe, who previously appeared in "Bare Behind", in a terrific spanking scene in that book, which I would recommend be read first, then follow it up with this one. This spanking scene is well worth the price of admission alone. Great book all round, featuring some of Penny's best characters.

For those of you who haven't been initiated into Penny Birch's world you are in for a rare treat. She has a vast and diverse cast of charecters. Each charecter is finely detailed, unique and most of all loveable. I would urge you to buy as many of her books as you can. She craftily builds up to each unique climax. There is never a dull moment. You never have the urge to skip ahead, and you never have the feeling of "didn't this exact thing happen to so and so". She has very real feeling charecters each of whom have their own needs, desires and fetishes. J & J is another incredible effort by a wonderfully perverse writer. I highly recomend this book to every adult.

This is about Amber a fem dom who likes to be fliped in embarising situations by dominants usualy male. The plot centers on her trying to get property that a rather annoying excessively agressive guy out bid her on so she wil have a place to race poney girls. Definately one of Penney's better books and a good read.

I loved this kinky little tale! The story is fascinating and the scenes are....... well, it's from nexus, need i say more? loved it! great author ms. birch. bravo!
