5.0 out of 5 stars Because Of Joe !!!!!!!
This one of my favorite Malevolent Creaion albums in my collection. I bought it sometime in the summer of 1996 along with Internal Bleeding's Voracious Comtempt. For me, anything Malevolent Creation is worth buying and this is no exception. So I bought this album along with the other one I just mentioned and took them home to listen to. 5.0 out of 5 stars Because Of Joe !!!!!!!, December 21, 2004

When I got around to listening to this CD, I cranked it up and it ripped.

Now for my review. This is a different release than any other Malevolent Creation album. It is not a typical studio album but it's a compilation of different material by the band.

1. The first are 3 songs that I think probably didn't make it on Eternal because they have the production of Eternal. They are both brutal and they rip.

2. The second material are remixes of No Salvation, To Kill and Tasteful Agony. The remixes are almost in the vain of the remixes on Fear Factory's Remanufactured (Cloning Technology) and the Fear Is A Mindkiller EP. Not to worry, it's not electronica at all and this is in no way the next musical direction for the band. Malevolent Creation will ALWAYS be Malevolent Creation. The songs are cool but strange and weird for those Malevolent fans that don't like those 2 Fear Factory albums. For those who are open-minded and can handle it, take a listen. To those who can't take it, skip over the songs. Your choice.

3. The third meterial is the demo version of Genetic Afflictions from Stillborn. For those who were dissapointed with Stillborn, this demo version sounds better than the original. It's another treasure for the die hard Malevolent fan.

4. The fourth material is a cover of Rainning Blood by Slayer. The production and sound of the cover are almost like the non-Stillborn version of Genetic Affliction. The cover rips.

5. And the last material are 2 songs from one of Malevolent's early demos. They are Remnants Of Withered Decay and Impaled Existence from The Ten Commandments. The versions of these songs are better than the originals because they sound heavier, brutal and they crush. It's 2 more gems from the die-hard Malevolent fan.

In closing, this is an awesome release for new and even long-time devoted fans of the band. Buy it, self-important freak.

I've always liked Malevolent Creation. I have all of there CD's, but about 2. I feel that's a dedicated fan given the amount of CD's the band has. In all, this is a great CD to add to your collection.

4.0 out of 5 stars MORE STUFF FROM THESE GODS, November 5, 2000

Another fine example of what MALEVOLENT CREATION can accomplish. This is their third album and it is not to be underestimated. It is full of powerful guitar riffs and the vocals are pure MALEVOLENT CREATION. Although this item is very good, my favorite still has to be "in cold blood" because it's a little faster and more brutal.

Anyway, no death metal collection would be complete without this album just because everything from MALEVOLENT CREATION is sick and twisted. Don't miss out on this one, and try the other ones out too; you won't be dissapointed.
