Really a great workbook, I use it for my drum lessons with an instructor. This book has it all, hand exercises, accent exercises, hand and foot. The best part of this book isnt the crazy drum patterns (which I am told you need to know), its what happens after you pick up your speed. When you are new and slow it is pretty challenging to get the compound practice of (rythm plus fill)down, but after a while it starts working.

For the most simple way to the complex one, it works. You must repeat each step till you make it the SAME way he is doing. Don't cheat, cause the results are going to be noticed when you play.

Really good instructional DVD ,I really enjoy watching each pattern individually ..Each pattern shown to really show how to practice pattern . highly recommended for the beginner in learning the double kick patterns,Also a nice DVD for the intermediate.
