If you like 60's garage....,

As a recording engineer, this man was truly a pioneer.
He built some of his own equipment and was extremely covetous of his sound. I learned about him because one of his assistants eventually began to manufacture versions of Joe Meeks original designs of compressors and Pre Amps. I liked the gear so much, I had to hear what he did with it. Impressive, considering he recorded in mono for AM radio.

Just look at the cover - "30 Freakbeat, mod & R&B nuggets" - and here's only one half of that collection in the mp3 downloads section. Wahhh! I think Meekfans would appreciate paying a little more, like $13.98, for the entire album!
