Touching songs about love among family members, January 11, 2001

~This is a collection of touching acoustic blues songs improvised to depict family relationships. What's amazing is that all of the three Hopkins brothers are wonderful blues songsters who can play heartbreaking guitar and sing tear-taking songs. Quite a few times I caught myself listening to "Home With Mama" and "Come Down To My House" with tears in my eyes. All the songs are live performances recorded in Lightnin's brother's house. Moreover, this CD was very well remastered and you~~ don't have to worry about background noise. If you like Lightnin' Hopkins, you sure will like this CD.~
