I've been a George Strait fan since "Unwound" hit the radio 30+ years ago. Like the George Jones song, "Who's Gonna Fill Their Shoes?" asks, Joel Warren does a good job of filling George Strait's shoes (or should I say boots.) If you like old fashioned Texas Country, you will like Joel Warren. The song, "Leavin' Lubbock", is a nice, slow, two-steppin' song that shows Joel Warren's ability to draw you into the song and make you feel just like the fellow who has lost his girl.
