I own 3 racecars and two motorcycles. Tire pressure not only affects tire wear but more importantly handling.

Long story short: I moved to Scottsdale recently, but most of my things are still in storage in Chicago (including 3 very nice tire pressure gauges). Got new tires on one of my bikes. Didn't want to spend a lot of money for a tire pressure gauge since I already have 3 ($50-$440) gauges... so I bought an "affordable" gauge at Walmart. Was having handling issues which I was blaming on the shocks. Started to see wear issues on the tires within 3 weeks, 2200 miles. Thought (another) good gauge would be a good investment at this point. Liked the Joe's gauge because of price, because I have other Joe's products on my racecars, and because the vendor selling on Amazon (HRP) only sells top quality stuff (I've actually visited their facility).

Guess what? Per the Joe's gauge: My motorcycle tires were under inflated by 10#! And my truck tires were under inflated by 15#!! The handling issues with the bike are gone, and my truck now handles like a new truck!!!

This is the best bang for the buck gauge I've found. My $440 gauge is still my favorite, but this one is just as good as my other two.

There's a reason this has an almost solid block of five stars - it is a very well made, high quality, accurate tire pressure gauge.

A few observations:

* It is physically a lot larger than I'd expected. There is no way I'm going to try to store that in my truck's tiny glove box.

* As indicated in Joe's included directions, the 0-60psi gauge is designed for use with tires that you expect to keep/maintain around 30psi. If you need to measure beyond 60psi with this particular device, you will damage it.

* The gauge, the rubber protective case, the hose, and the chucks are all good quality. (There are "made in USA" text all over them - imagine that.)

* In terms of accuracy, it seems to be a lot more consistent than my Slime digital. I can test over and over, and get the _same_ results (as opposed to a couple weird readings on my Slime).

'Nuff said. This thing is pretty good.

Great affordable gauge for accurately maintaining the pressure in your car / SUV tyres. The swiveling adapter make a good seal, the gauge reads in real time not peak hold, you can see differences as small as 1/2 a psi, the air release works great.

It has all the right features for any enthusiast..
