This song belongs to the album Time of No Reply. Lyrics start with, "Joey will come to see your flowers. Joey will come to while away your hours. But she'll tell you you're not so good for her. She wouldn't be there if you if it could be that you were. "
A pensive song, while not among his top 10 songs still stands out because it tells a story. A story as confusing as it is engaging. And that can be said to most of nick drake's music. It just stands out, dislike me for saying this but it REALLY does become a way of life. |
