I got this book as a Christmas gift and didn't start the 90 days until the summer. I was so sad I waited! I thought I would be reading John chapter by chapter and just learning more about what it said. WRONG! I have gotten to know John the disciple and have learned so much that applies to my daily walk. Beth Moore continues to do a great job making difficult theology very clear and very relevant. A great 90 day journey!

Great book to start your journey through the Book of John whether you are new or a veteran of Bible studies. Very thoughtful questions by the author allows you to reflect upon your experiences and follows up with questions on how it applies in the Book of John. The book's format is as follows: 1. Before you Begin, 2. Stop & Consider, 3. The Beloved Disciple, 4. Praying God's Word Today which allows for deep & thoughtful insight throughout this "Personal Reflections Series".

I am thoroughly enjoying this book and have given it as a gift and recommended it as gifts. It is a devotional but one that makes you think and dig a little bit. I hope to buy all the books in this series to jump start my day. I have also turned it into my prayer journal as I go. There are a few questions and some reading for each day. I would recommend this to a new or mature Christian. My mom is 75 and I gave her "Jesus" from this series for Christmas. She was very excited because she has never had a devotional with this format before. A couple days after Christmas she told me she had started it and really liked it. She has spent her life serving and not having time or resources to always study like she could have so I think this book is perfect for someone like her also. Thank you Beth Moore for listening to what God has for you to share with us and putting this beautiful book together.

I purchased three of these as my friends and I are about to embark on a year long study starting in September - on the Book of John at BSF. In preparation, I thought it would be great to get a head start and this book is awesome!!! Beth Moore is an incredible Sister in Christ and I recommend anything that she writes.

A really beautiful book. The book itself is manufactured so nicely with thick paper for the pages and a hardback cover. It has a place for your reflections on the daily bible study which is written well and is very meaningful. When I finish this one, I hope to purchase the others.

I just got it in the mail today and I am shocked at how thick and beautifully done the book is. It is an inch and a half thick and hard cover and I love the "ripped" edges look. This book looks too good to write my answers in and then set aside!! I normally don't keep my Bible study books but this is too beautiful to eventually toss out.

It would make a wonderful gift for anyone who wants to know the life of John better and who likes Beth Moore. I'm sure I'll be back for her other Bible studies like this one. This book has beauty on the outside while it contains wonderful spiritual information for growth on the inside!! It's a keeper!

Excellent study. Easy to do, very deep at times. Lots of self examination. Good Beth Moore personal study.

I bought this book as a Chistmas gift for a lovely friend. I thought I was ordering a plan workbook-type thing, but when it arrived, I was thrilled! It is a very beautiful hard-bound book with high-quality paper. I was so proud to give this book, and I know that the study of John will change my friend's life.

My bible study is only on Day 15 in this book, but so far we are pleased. Each day it encourages you just a little moment of quiet time with God, John and your Bible. It can be tricky for a small group because some of the questions are personal, but all in all, we are enjoying it. I would recommend for a personal Bible study (and would consider the 90 day Jesus one and the 90 day David one in the future).
