John Berry first charted in 1993 with "A Mind Of Her Own" and "Kiss Me In The Car," both which failed to crack the top 40. It was the third single, "Your Love Amazes Me," that brought this singer to national recognition, and the song quickly became one of the most sought after wedding songs across the country.
Two more singles, "You And Only You" and "What's In It For Me" went on to become top 10 hits.

Regardless of whether Berry's CD are big sellers or not, you can be guaranteed that this classically trained artist will deliver quality entertainment.

I purchased this album after my daughter told me about this incredible voice of John Berry. I was not disappointed, only wondering where John Berry's music had been hiding! His voice is astounding and even better in concert. My favorites: "Your Love Amazes Me" and "More Sorry Than You'll Ever Know".

This album has some truly beautiful songs on it. "Your love amazes me" and "You and only you" in particular. The other songs though are also very good .. John's tenor voice is strong and he knows how to put the right amount of feeling into each song, whether a love ballad or up-tempo number. Recommended for all of John's fans as well as fans of contemporary country. Booklet includes all lyrics, and photos of John.

John Berry's voice can be only described as powerful and intensely emotional! I doubt that anyone can LEARN to sing like this! He is fabulously gifted!!!

After seeing Mr.Berry in person I just had to have the album. His voice is powerful and unique. This album is only the start. We hope to hear more of this wonderful voice in the future.

I bought this cd because of "your love amazes me". As I was listening to the cd I stumbled upon the song "You and only you". These two songs are just beautiful, they evoke such strong emotions of love, John Berry has such a gorgeous and powerful voice.

John Berry's self-titled major debut album is representative of the early nineties contemporary country market.
Berry has a great voice which works well on the ballads especially. The up-tempo tracks are more generic and easier to dismiss. The most impressive tracks are the emotionally-charged ballads: YOUR LOVE AMAZES ME, WHEN LOVE DIES, MORE THAN YOU'LL EVER KNOW and YOU AND ONLY YOU. Of the bouncier tunes, KISS ME IN THE CAR is fun to listen to.
While not an exceptional effort, JOHN BERRY is an enjoyable album from a talented vocalist.

I Bought This Album Over A Year Ago. I Like It Becuse It Has Songs Like The Number 1 "Your Love Amazes Me", "Kiss Me In The Car", "A Mind Of Her Own", "What's In It For Me", And "You And Only You" Which Also Appears On The "Standing On The Edge" Album. You Won't Be Dissapointed With This One.
