As the owner of other John Boos wood items, this smaller butcher block cutting board is up to the usual high standard of this company. Excellent indeed!

This is exactly what my mother was looking for and could not find. It is well made and we are very satisfied

I had one of these for a decade and finally got a new one. It's heavy enough to stay in place, but with the feet, it's easy to pick up and move around. I condition it with mineral oil. It's my go-to cutting board, and it's pretty enough to sit on the counter all the time.

The 12-inch size is pefect for my hubby and I.

Cleaning is easy, just:

1. Wipe clean with a paper towel
2. Grab a clean sponge with dishsoap and scrub
3. Remove all residue with water
4. Spray a 4 parts water and 1 part white vinegar solution
5. Remove all residue again
6. Use oil of your choice to seal

And it's brand new again!

The board itself it very sturdy and well-made. I am very happy with my purchase. Remember to buy John Boo's mystery oil or the lotion/cream. It really works wonders.

This is a great piece for a very good cutting board...the size is large enough to dice up a few things on, but still portable enough to move around the kitchen. I highly reccomend the John Boo's solution to be used, it makes the color much nicer and will help it age properly. This was a great buy!
