Rock Maple 18"X3" end grain Round
Needs initial oil, then wax. Like a fine car, it will serve you well for years if you take care of it. Can't let water linger on the surface of this item. Keep it dried off. You can hear the quality as you chop and cut on this block.

Buy at your own risk
I bought one of these a couple of years ago thinking it would be the last chopping block I would buy. Unfortunately, the one I bought is now separating. There is a 4" crack running along one of the glue lines that runs all the way through the block from top to bottom.

Boos blocks are the gold standard - watch cooking shows, you'll see them using this block. Spacious enough to chop a lot of veggies or bone a chicken. Keep it oiled with their oil and enjoy a lifetime of chopping pleasure!
