This review is from: John Brown's Effective Footwork DVD (Misc.)
This is a good educational video as far as i'm concerned. Pretty much illustrates by example how to go about walking on the ring. I would have given it 4 stars, however due to a seriously bad audio quality, watching the video was a pain staking process.
Details : Remember the first time you videoed your self on Cam, this dvd feels like it. Production wise is kinda sloppy. The coach been keeping his hands inside his pockets all the time as he been going on illustrating the fine points of boxing. Which made me think hmm, is he really a coach, why so conservative. But then again I can't really complain about everything, as far as the DVD is concerned i'm satisfied with the amount of insight info i'm earning. Now your going to seriously notice audio quality sucks big time. I found my self holding the remote all the time I've been watching the video switching between high and low volume to either try to comprehend what the presenter is saying or to anticipate the noisy cut scenes. I found my self multi tasking between having my dinner, trying to enjoy watching TV and holding the remote for the proper volume control. You know what ! as far as the experience is concerned i would say 4 stars of annoyance. |
