Fast delivery by Amazon was great. This tractor is very detailed with some nice touches with the backup and engine sounds. On first examination, I was immediately concerned that this toy was NOT die cast like the previous review led me to believe. The tractor is not even made out of a more durable plastic that could take the rough and tumble play of a 4 year old. Its made of very light weight plastic that is not bonded at the joints but employs a molded hook and loop system on the bottom side of the tractor. 5 mins after Dad got the toy unpacked from the packaging, my little nephew already had cracked the frame with what I would consider very normal play for a 4yr old.

I really rely on Amazons reviews and I felt led astray in this case, no offense to previous reviewers. If your child is extremely carefull and has a good understanding of how much force it takes to break something, buy this tractor.

I purchased this tractor for my grandson's christmas present. I wish I had of bought the trailer to go behind it, but that was my mistake. First thing my grandson wanted to know was where is the trailer? It has dual wheels on the back that will remove to a single axle. The hood raises up to see the engine and it has a back-up horn and engine sounds. It is made to withstand many years of use. I am thrilled with my purchase.

My boys love this tractor. We bought the wagon and animals to go with it so they have something to wheel around. I wish the tractor and wagon were die-cast. I'm afraid the plastic parts won't last long.

I bought this tractor for my friend's son, and he loves it. He carries it with him all the time. It is very durable. Overall I am very satisfied.

I purchased this for my friend's 3 year old son for Christmas. The tractor was great. It made sounds like a tractor starting, had backup beeps, etc. and was of excellent quality. It actually looked like a John Deere tractor. I was so pleased with it I purchased a trailor for him to tow behind it for his birthday. It too was from this collection. I definetly recommend this for hours of playtime enjoyment and imagination.

It seems to be a good toy that will last a long time but their are some silly problems with it. The batteries and speaker for the sound are located in the top of the cab and to change them the cab comes off. Thats fine but when a child wants to pick it up they grab it buy the cab and it separates from the tractor. Overall its OK. Almost forgot, its all plastic.

I owned a JD tractor, similar to this, but from metal, over 20 years ago. It is still being played with. Unfortunately, the plastic version is not as durable and does not aspire confidence. However, it does look very nice. On second thought maybe it was not the best idea for a 3-4 year old.

I am not sure how much harder my son could be on this tractor but it sure has held up. He takes it on our farm equipment with him so he can have his while riding the real thing. It takers all of the beatings and keeps on going. The realistic sounds and lights are too cute. All of the JOhn Deere toys are worth buying. In our local farm store they are more than double what they are going for on Amazon. The price is more than right and the value is definately there! :)

This tractor is very well-made, and I know my grandson is going to play with it for a lot of years. It's die-cast, so will last. Maybe he'll give it to his son some day.
