I have been waiting for a farming game in first person view for a while now. Drive Green is a great game but anyone can start to point out the areas for improvement immediately. The biggest things I was disappointed with were the keyboard controls and the virtual tractor feels and drives nothing like a tractor. Other than that it is an easy and enjoyable game to play for all ages and I will continue to play it until the sequel.

I received this game about a week ago and as a person who used to work on a farm and love everything associated with farming, this game can get addicting. I have a half way decent computer and it runs well, once in a while I get a glitch, but for the most part the game play makes it worth it. I like this better than the other John Deere games because it gives you more control over actually "farming" your fields.

I actually have fun mowing the lawn too! Just an all around fun game on a rainy day.

This game is perfect to practice patience,but talking in a good way. Have you seen some Tibetan monks drawing on sand to bring the inner peace?,well ,this game has most of it but with machines.

The graphics are really cool and all the farmer environment is really nice captured with nice views.Maybe there is not much to say about this game,only that is basically more for adults than young guys because it hasn't the attractive of others actions games. Remember,this is a simulator,but you don't have to kill anyone,just to give you an idea of a Farmer's life.

It is a nice game indeed!

I bought this game a month ago and when i got it it was HARD at first, but after a fey days it was easy. this game shows you how it feels to be a real farmer.
I have to say though it needs more jobs.

My son is 11 and has been on a farm his whole life. He loved the game but it didn't take long for him to exhaust all levels but he had fun while getting there.

This game is great! Driving the equipment and managing your farm is awsome. Highly recomended if you like simulation games.

This is a very fun game for people who have been on a farm or have something to do with farming.

I purchased John Deere Drive Green for my son as a Christmas gift. When I attempted to load it, I got an error message that I did not understand. I visited the Valusoft tech support website only to find no mechanism to contact a human. I finally found an email address to the sales department. I emailed sales, explaining my situation and that I understood sales couldn't help me fix my problem and that I was simply asking them to put me in contact with someone in tech support. I received a robotic reply stating that they couldn't help me and to visit the tech support site. I responded that I had and reterated that I simply wanted them to either provide contact info or forward my email to tech support. I received another email stating they couldn't forward my email to another department within their own company and there was no number that they could provide me for tech support. I will be happy to forward the email string to anyone who would like to see it. If this situation wasn't so pathetic, it would be almost comical. Customer service (and I use this term very loosely) in this company is a parody of itself.

The bottom line is that I will never purchase another product from this company and will use every opportunity to share with any potential customer that this company's customer service is completely substandard to virtually non-existant.

The game works great and was just as promised in the description of the game. My son is 9 years old and he loves it.

I do enjoy this game and it is an interesting layout but I would suggest you download the demo for John Deere Drive Green and for Farming Simulator. John Deere Drive Green is the simpler of the two so it depends who is playing the game. Farming Simulator has more complex controls so I think smaller children would not understand it as easily.
