i ordered this on line for one of my 4 year old twin sons. it is a piece of junk! i ordered for my other twin the john deere loader - it is made by a different company and is so much better. i just returned this item and ordered another loader.

this toy has only 1 wheel drive, the front wheels spin and the steering is hard and inconsistent. my son was so anxiously awaiting this toy and was so disappointed especially when he saw how great the loader worked.

if you are looking for a tractor, i really recommend the john deere loader by peg perego for the same price.

I bought it for my little cousin. He loves to come to the farm and ride on the tractors, so I thought he needed his own toy tractor to ride. He totally loves it! It is very durable and will last him for years to come, a great gift for any farm kid or any one that loves tractors! This tractor was easy to put together, the detail makes it look just like a John Deere on the farm. Great toy!

I read the reviews on this product AFTER I purchased the product as a gift for my nephew. My sister was too polite to complain, but this product is a pricey plastic piece of junk! Too ridgid to provide opportunities for improved gross motor development. I'm very disappointed. Should have gone with the Peg Perego version of this product.

We bought this for our 3yo son as a bribe (ahem) to give up his baby bottle habit. He was able to choose any toy in the store and this is what he chose (good taste). It is well worth the money we paid for it (full price). He loves it, his 1-1/2 yo sister loves it. They will get years' more use out of this tractor. It is very durable; it helps them with their coordination and judging distances and teaches cause and effect (and SHARING). I would recommend you have a little extra garage space if you are going to store it inside as it is larger than your normal trike or Big Wheel type of thing. This is a great price for this item. Grab it up! You won't regret it. Oh yeah. Get a pile of rocks too so they have something to scoop!!

I am missing a part and the number on the instuctions is 319 875-5959,dial that number and it says it is not in service any help would be appreciated.had to rate them all a 1 until we can use it!

The prepunched holes were not clear of plastic. A drill had to be used to clear the pastic so that assembly could be completed. The steering column assembly was the most difficult. Several hours were needed to complete the assembly of the tractor. A very determined grandfather would not give up! Quality control needs great improvement.

The completed product is a delight to our grandchild and especially to his paternal grandmom and great-grandmom. His paternal great-granddad was a farmer.

I purchased the Tractor for my grandson....the look on his face when he saw it was priceless!
I wanted one that was a minture of the "John Deere" Tractor his Daddy uses on the yard.
It was just that a perfect duplicate...

My grandson wanted this tractor badly so I purchased it and had it sent to Georgia. It arrived in perfect condition and if he could sleep on it, he would. He rides it from the time he awakens to going to sleep and it works as a great behavior modification tool for a healthy rambuncious 5 yr. old.

Got this for my son's birthday. Assembly was hard because of poor drive system. It worked for one year but the drive system snapped and the tractor became unusable.

This is just a piece of junk, and I would not recommend it for anybody.

I didn't buy this, I grabbed it off of someones trash day pile. the front wheels had fallen off but a few seconds of work put them back on. the rear wheels were wrapped in duct tape, turns out the plastic rear wheel that drives it won't get any traction on pavement unless it is wrapped like that. the other rear wheel was wrapped to stop the plastic from wearing away. my son rode that tractor for years, he never let anything get him stuck, he would just pedal back and forth until he got unstuck, finally one day the steering wheel broke right off, but by then he was riding a bike with training wheels so it wasn't the hugest loss. I almost bought him another one, but then he learned to ride with no training wheels (look up my simple no fuss/no sweat way on instructables.com) at age 4.
