I love this book! It has a great selection of songs, beautifully arranged. The fingerstyle in this book includes the actual melody (i.e. vocal) line in the actual arrangement. If you intend to sing along and want a 'backing' type accompaniment ONLY - then this MIGHT not be suitable. Having said that, there really is nothing stopping you singing along to it also!!! I bought it wanting to be able to play an arrangement so that those familiar with the songs would recognise them immediately, even without me singing!... and now I can now do just that. A real delight!!! Whilst this book probabaly isn't suited to the beginner (unless they are willing to persevere a little), I highly recommended for the intermediate plus, fingerstyle player!!!
