Worth...every...penny. I've had mine a few years now and they are easily the most comfortable boots I've ever had. In fact, I've bought one pair and just resoled them and they still look great. They break in easily and have tons of distance on them. I love to walk, generally 4 to 8 miles every other day, up and down Seattle hills, and these take me where ever I want to go. What makes them so confortable is the construction, the insole, and the soft outer sole. Be aware that the soft sole can wear, but it's nice and thick, so not too quickly. These look good on, especially with jeans, and are a fashionable alternative to combat boots.
I love the look! I am still breaking them in - they don't rub uncomfortably anywhere but they are a harder leather than I was expecting. I once had a pair of angel soles and could wear them all day waitressing. I'm not sure why but my feet feel tired after a couple of hours wearing these shoes, and they feel a little clunky. That said, I look great in them!
These are adorable, but definitely needed a lace change. I put purple in to match the soles, but black or white would also work. The ones that come with are turquoise, while the boots are more of a teal. They are a bit stiff, so need some breaking in time, then I imagine they will be great for all day wear.
