Dr. Paulien was one of my seminary profs and as I was making my way through the beginning a chapter-by-chapter bible study I lead I remembered this book, so I found a copy and ordered.

While not overly scholarly but with plenty of detail and a good bibliography, this book does well for those who are interested in finding more depth to their own personal bible study or like me, using it as a tool to facilitate others in a group setting.

Highly recommended if you can get your hands on one.
