I think this is a perfect CD for anyone who enjoys bluegrass. They do such a good job with this latest CD, John and Mary and all the others they have done in the past! I would recommend this to anyone!!!

John and Mary is a wonderfully diverse collection. Keeping within the mainstream of bluegrass on many songs but incorporating blues and upbeat rhythms in others. I would highly recommend John and Mary to everyone:-)

John and Mary is the first IIIrd Tyme Out CD I have purchased. I definately intend to purchase more of their music, and wish that I had known about them long before now! I listen to this CD on a regular basis, with my favorite song being 'Rose of My Heart'.. Their tight harmonies, great pickin' and choice of songs has made me a definate IIIrd Tyme Out fan and I plan to come back for more!

This is an enjoyable CD. Solid musical performances with a distinct southern back hills style, but it doesn't light my fire. Worth a listen, but doesn't stay in my CD player long. Cheers, pwb

IIIrd Time Out bluegrass band has once again made a great CD. They are one of my favorite bluegrass bands as they play REAL BLUEGRASS, in my opinion. I highly recomend this CD.

Never heard of this group until now, and I am very impressed! Very tastefull accompaniment, especially that Dobro player. A great find; i will have to get their other CDs. btw, where are they from?

I know these guys personally and they are the nicest people you will ever meet! The Cd is great! Russel's voice is one of a kind! If you like Bluegrass Music you will love IIIrd Tyme Out! I don't know how to get you to believe me so all I can do is say trust me! I know the guys and am good friends with them! and I am not saying that they are good just because I know them either! I don't like bluegrass music but I love these guys! I really think you will too!

I've tried to be objective in listening to this CD. Something just doesn't do it for me. There are maybe two cuts that I have listened too. The lead vocalist has a very nice voice, but the music just doesn't appear to me to be traditional bluegrass. Is there another CD of theirs that someone might recommend so I can give them a second chance? Thanks.
