I also realized after using my bottle up that I could remake it for SO much less money! I just refill it with 1 tsp- 2tsp of sea salt, distilled water, and a few drops of lavender essential oil. Totally understand if DIY is not your thing, but also wanted to share in case it was! (:
If you co-wash your hair, beware--you need to really use shampoo to get this product out (as I found out, because I co-wash), and if you apply it too many days in a row without washing it out, your hair will get a bit hard. Wash your hair every other day or every three days and this product will amaze you. It also stops your hair from getting greasy as quickly because of the drying salt--very nice.
--actually has sea salt in the ingredients
--adds some messy waves to hair
--pretty big bottle, lasts a while
--keeps hair from getting oily quick
--doesn't add much texture: if your hair is fine, it will stay fine with a few scrunchy waves; if your hair already has some waves, it will enhance them. My hair is medium thickness with some natural waves, so this adds some natural staying power to the curls, without all that curl cream/gel/mouse stuff. The way I do it, to keep hair from getting frizzy, is after I spray it, I pin up my hair in many little twisted sections and leave it to dry. That way, it comes out WAY curly and stays for nearly a week.
--I would recommend this for people who's hair is medium to thick and with some natural wave, as it creates manageable style without all the heavy products. Also, if you hair is straight but has the kind of texture that holds waves. Bumble & Bumble, though, adds much more texture.
It's still not comparable to a dip in the ocean, but I guess nothing is....

The smell of lavender is a bit off, but not too bad. I would consider this more of a texturizing spray rather than a typical sea salt/beach waves spray. Read morePublished 29 days ago by Elky
I usually don't like my hair "too clean". But this made my hair just feel gritty. Never was able to achieve any beach waves, ended up just giving me dirty looking hair.Published 1 month ago by LuLu
