A superb John McCormack disc, April 8, 2001

I am becoming more impressed all the time with the Pearl label, only recently having made a first purchase. What they have done with this release is to provide McCormack admirers one of the finest discs in the current McCormack list. I urge anyone exploring McCormack's recordings not to overlook this superbly produced CD. This CD is a model of the way to present John McCormack recordings to modern listeners. The program is McCormack's few lieder recordings, and they are just another example of the wonder of this once-in-a-century singer.
